My name is Dawa. I came from Tibet in 2006 and joined the Tibetan Homes Foundation School in Mussoorie, where I graduated in 2016.  After that I studied  at Sarah College for Higher Tibetan Studies for four years. For two years, I was involved in the children’s story translation project, a collaboration between Sarah College and the Department of Education (Sherig), during which I translated around eight children’s storybooks. I have been teaching Tibetan to foreign students at Esukhia for the past three years. Currently, I teach Tibetan online independently and also take on small translation projects.
