I was born and raised in Paris, France, but spent most of my summers in India between Kalimpong and Dharamshala, at a time when Paris did not yet have the vibrant Tibetan community it has today. Those summers were foundational in shaping my identity, so it feels like a full-circle moment to now be part of the first-ever Tibetan Youth Tenshug and Youth Festival. I later pursued my studies in International Relations in London and went on to work with the International Campaign for Tibet Europe in Amsterdam for 2 years. Alongside this, I’ve been involved with Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) – as an intern, a chapter president, and currently as a student trainer. This summer, I feel privileged to spend my time in Dharamshala, brushing up on my Tibetan while soaking in everything d-town has to offer.
